Actions For Excellence

Consultation:  A review of your current systems and concerns will be conducted.  After inquiry, a recommendation of which services best suit your needs.  The development of desired outcomes will be developed in a formal proposal.

Research Based Assistance:  The interventions will be "Best Practice" strategies that have been proven over time.  The proven approaches whether administrative or classroom will be instructed and demonstrated to the target audience.  Moreover, the process will be monitored in progress to assist in internalizing the skills and strategies.

Mission and Vision Alignment:  A review of the district's mission and vision will be conducted and collaborative sessions with selected leaders including the board of trustees, superintendent, central level administrator and campus principals to determine the level understanding of the mission and vision.  A process to use the mission and vision in decision making will be developed.  Upon request, a process to review the mission and vision to develop a set of "core values" may be conducted.

Communication:  A review with district level leadership will explore the communication process.  A series of presentations at the various levels of the system will be delivered to help institutionalize effective communication protocols within the system.  Additionally, a review of community and parent communication will be conducted and recommendations to enhance those relationships will be provided and sessions to create processes for those aspects of communication will be developed.

Campus Leadership Assistance: A collaborative view of the circumstances of the campus principal and/or assistant principal will be conducted.  Upon completion an action plan and professional leadership strategies will be provided.  Arrangements can be made for following support or a written plan of "look fors" will be developed.

Professional Learning Communities: An introduction and structuring process for school districts to implement Professional Learning Communities designed to increase learning outcomes.

Keynote Speaker:  I will be glad to perform keynote addresses for a variety of school and business functions.  My experiences as a school superintendent, principal, teacher, coach and athlete provide the foundation for numerous situations.  Let me know your needs!
